AAP and Congress to join hands in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi: Sukhpal Khaira


Chandigarh: As per media reports Rebel Aam Aadmi Party leader and former leader of opposition Sukhpal Singh Khaira on Monday claimed that Congress and AAP would form an alliance.

Talking with a TV News Channel, Khaira said he had confirmed information that Congress and AAP were going to enter into an alliance.

Khaira asserted that the proposed alliance was being put in place because the Congress needed political partners to defeat the BJP in 2019 general elections.

He named Punjab, Haryana and Delhi where AAP and Congress would join hands.

Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was playing a key role in forging this alliance, he added.

Its pertinent to mention here that Khaira‘s Bathinda convention declares Punjab AAP as an autonomous, announces to dissolves present Punjab Unit. Rejects the appointment of Harpal Cheema as LoP , announces to New leader of Legislative party. Only 6 MLAs out of 19 were present to support Sukhpal Khaira.
