Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora asks HC to grant parole to meet his mother


Chandigarh: Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora, political Sikh prisoner urged the Punjab and Haryana high court Chandigarh to get 2 hours parole to meet his mother who is not physical well.

On the directions of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, a joint team of Punjab police cops and PGI Doctors reached the home of Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora to carry his mother to Burail jail, on January 19, 2018.

Notably, the Punjab & Haryana High Court had directed the UT Administration to arrange a meeting of Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora with his mother Pritam Kaur in Burail jail.

After conducting a thorough medical checkup of Bibi Pritam Kaur, the PGI doctors declared her unfit to carry to Burail jail in car.

93 years Bibi Pritam Kaur is not physically well from these days and wants to meet his son Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora.

Meanwhile, Bibi Surinder Kaur (sister of Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora) has appealed the Punjab government to fulfill wish of her mother to meet her son for the last time in life.

He said in his petition he has been taken out from jail for court appearing,  many times in past and some of his co-accused have got paroles . It has also been mentioned in petition that 15-day parole has been granted to Ravi Chandra, who had convicted in Rajiv Gandhi Murder case.
