BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy  says center seek  apology from the Sikh community for Army Attack on Sri Darbar Sahib

Amritsar: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Subramanian Swamy  said that Indian Government seek unconditional apology from the Sikh community as an atonement for attacking the  Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar in 1984 and  killed hundreds of Sikhs.

As per media reports this was disclosed by Damdami Taksal chief Harnam Singh Khalsa, who led a delegation to meet Dr Swamy to discuss various Sikh-related issues.

The delegation gave a memorandum to Swamy demanding the passing of a resolution of atonement for Operation Bluestar in Parliament.

Other demands included implementation of the Anand Karaj Act, release of Sikh political prisoners, scrapping black list, returning rare documents “taken away” by the Army during army attack from Sikh Reference Library etc.
