CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Human Rights Organization, Sikhs for Human Rights and Lawyers for Human Rights International are collaboratively going to hold a seminar in Chandigarh on December 10. The theme of the seminar Holding On the eve of the 68th World Human Rights Day, will be about the issue of River Waters of Punjab.
Patiala MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi, Dr. Gurdarshan Singh Dhillon, Senior Journalist Jagtar Singh and Farmer leader S. Pishaura Singh Sidhupur will address the audience in this seminar besides other Political and Social activists.
Speaking to Sikh24, Advocate Amar Singh Chahal said that the river waters of Punjab were being looted by the Indian authorities by violating internationally accepted Riparian law.
“The seminar will expose the elements responsible for the loot of resources of Punjab”, he added.
