Bathinda: A lookout circular has been issued for Gurtej Singh Kala, incharge of a workshop at the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa, and Amrik Singh, a former security guard of the dera chief, were booked in connection with the Maur blast, they were booked two day before.
As per The Tribune DIG, Counter Intelligence, Ranbir Singh Khattra said raids were being conducted to nab the duo. In the past two days, the police teams have conducted more than a dozen raids in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.The Punjab Police are also in touch with Uttarakhand and the UP Police.
Earlier, the police had got a clue that Gurtej was living at Gurusar Modia village in Rajasthan, the native place of dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, till December and was in touch with his family. Amrik also visited the village.
The police are also looking out for the third suspect, Avtar Singh, alias Tari, an electrician, though he is yet to be booked in the case, reads a report in TT .
Leader of the Opposition and AAP MLA Sukhpal Khaira on Sunday accused the Congress and the Shiromani Akali Dal of playing politics “over the bodies of people to get power”.
In a press statement, Khaira said the involvement of Congress and Akali leaders had come to light during the preliminary police investigation into the Maur blast. He said the blast was aimed at defaming the Aam Aadmi Party and misguiding people of the state.
