According to The tribune sources, the Mohali Additional District Attorney (ADA) requested extension of their remand on the plea that Inderjit Singh had forcibly taken a .32-bore pistol and a .12-bore gun from a gangster and the police have to recover both the firearms.

The ADA also stated that Inderjit was lying in connection with the AK-47 rifle that the STF had seized from his possession.
