Bathinda: In yet another case of sacrilege of gurbani, pages of a “Gutka Sahib” (holy book) were found in a street of Jalal village in Bathinda district on Friday. People gathered about 25 pages and took these to the village gurdwara. Villagers accused a woman of sacrilege.
As per reports Dyalpura police station SHO Tejinder Singh, along with a police party, reached the spot and started the investigation.
Its notable that on May 22 too, torn pages of a “Gutka Sahib” were found outside a gurdwara in the district’s Dhan Singhkhana village. However, the police have failed to arrest the accused.
