Sarbat Khalsa Jathedars may disrupt Gallughara 1984 samagam with congress support: Sukhbir Badal


Amritsar: Former Deputy Chief Minister Punjab and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal said that Sarbat Khalsa appointed Jahedars may disrupt peace during the commemoration of 33rd anniversary of Gallughara 1984 at the Akal Takht on June 6.

Sukhbir met Damdami Taksal chief Harnam Singh Dhumma at Taksal’s headquarters here Sunday.

Calling Sarbat Khalsa jathedars as nakli, Sukhbir Badal said they have the support of the Congress and may create ruckus during the June 6 programme.

“Sri Darbar Sahib is a pious complex which should be devoid of any political intervention. If any untoward incident happens, it will be the sole responsibility of the Congress government,” he said.
