Sikh community to boycott movie ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’: Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwale

Amritsar: Sikh youth body Sikh Youth Bhindranwale appealed Sikh community to boycott controversial movie “Nanak Shah Fakir” which violated sikh tenets to personify Sikh Guru on screen.
Although the SGPC has annulled its approval to the movie Nanak Shah Fakir, Sikh sangat is still furious over earlier “clean chit” despite various issues with the movie.  Senior Vice President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal said that the SGPC has sledgehammered the Sikh ethos which intolerable for the Sikh community.
Terming the movie Nanak Shah Fakir as an attempt to exploit Sikh sentiments, Bhai Ranjit Singh has said that the Sikh community won’t accept this movie at any cost.
In a written statement sheared with media  Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal said that no human being on this earth deserves capability to play role of the great Sikh masters.
“SYFB openly boycotts the movie ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’ and will do anything to stop it from hitting screens” he added.
Making an appeal to the Sikh community to get active for stopping the movie ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’ from hitting screens, he said that if pageantry entered in Sikh community now then the upcoming generations won’t be able do anything in future.
Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal has said that the movie is being released under a highly deliberated policy so that the great Sikh masters could be mocked in future in similar way like the Hindu deities are mocked during Ramleela.
“SYFB openly boycotts the movie ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’ and will do anything to stop it from hitting screens” he added.
